Department of electrical and electronic is responsible for the courses of“electrical circuit theory”, "the analog electronic technology", "digital electronic technology", and the courses for all the non electric majors "electrotechnics", "electrical and electronic technology foundation", and“the motor and power drag foundation course”.All coursesare formative assessment, and are supported by the provincial excellent course project.

The department now has5professors, 4 associate professors,11lecturers, among whom13have doctor degree, 1 provincial academic rookie, 1 provincial academic leader,3university-level mastersofteaching , 2 university-level "best teacher in my mind" and 1 university-level "teaching excellence award". Teachers of the department have presided over and completed more than 50 projects of national natural science foundation of China, provincial natural science foundation of China, natural science research projects of institutions of higher learning of the education department, and cooperative research projects with enterprises. In the past five years, the department has been approved more than 20 provincial teaching quality engineering projects, including "provincial teaching team". The teachers actively participate in guiding the national college students' electronic design competition, Siemens competition and graduation design, and have achieved good results.
